Sweetbreeze Kennel was founded by John & Cindy Garcia in 1985 out of a deep love for the GOLDEN RETRIEVER breed.   We strive to own, show, and breed Goldens that adhere to the American Kennel Club (AKC), standard for a Golden Retriever.

If you are, or have been, lucky enough to share your life with a Golden Retriever then you all ready know they are very loyal, wise, trustworthy, intelligent, and are eager to learn, work, and play.  Goldens possess a keen nose, a soft mouth, and a sharp eye making them very good retrievers.   Also, Goldens are easy to train and make wonderful members of the family whether you compete with your dog or just enjoy their companionship.

Sweetbreeze kennel is located in the Golden foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, approximately 11 miles from where James Marshall originally discovered Gold in California.  Tucked in the Cool hills on 4 acres is where we have been since 1989.
