For those of you looking for a Golden Retriever adult or puppy, one idea to consider is visiting a dog show to meet breeders and their dogs ring-side, watch them handle their dogs, and discuss their future breeding plans. Since most breeders develop a "waiting list" for their future puppies, visiting a breeder ring-side is a very good first step in your search for a well-bred Golden puppy. Ask to have your contact onformation added to their waiting list, and consider adding your contact information to several other waiting lists so you're sure to obtain a puppy. Most Breeders are glad to discuss their dogs with you, but after they're done showing is the best time since they won't be so busy preparing for the ring competition.
