Puppies (and Adult dogs)There are many wonderful Golden Retrievers that need your love and care. Please consider a Golden Retriever from one of the many rescue organizations and consider contacting the Norcal Golden Retriever Club web-site for information about Norcal's rescue & puppy referral services. Links to these sites and many more can be found on the "Clubs & Links" page of this site, or contact our CA Norcal Golden Retriever Club's Puppy Referral Service at (707) 455-0281, or Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue at (916) 655-1410; jjsgoldens@homewardboundgoldens.org. Check the Clubs and Links page for breeder contact information. Local breed clubs in your area are another good resource, hopefully you can do a web search to find a couple. Don't forget to also ask your Vet., local dog trainer, or your neighbor that has the neatest dog on the block for a breeder referral. And, if there are local dog shows* in your area I would encourage you to go see the Golden's show and meet breeders ringside. Talk to other breeders about their planned breeding's and ask to be placed on their “waiting-list” if you are interested in their dogs. *NOTE: To find a local dog show in your area, try searching the web for "dog shows", or check the Info-Dog web site and look for a upcoming shows sorted by the show date. Sweetbreeze PuppiesAt Sweetbreeze kennels our goal in breeding is to try to produce puppies which adhere to the American Kennel Club (AKC) breed standard for a Golden Retriever. We do not breed often, but when we plan a breeding our goal is to try to produce a "better" dog that is well-put-together, and possesses a sound temperament and personality that is so endearing of the Golden Retriever. I have two litters planned for the spring of 2007. Ch Penny X BISS Can. CH. Durango and her sister Shammy X Am. Can. CH. Zoom. Both Gals will be bred soon and they both have obtained all their health clearances. Pictures of both Ch. Penny and Shammy can be found on this web site under "Show Dogs", or by clicking here for Ch. Penny's Litter, and here for Shammy Litter. When a litter is planned I will usually keep one, possibly more puppies for my kennel, and take Names & Phone Numbers from interested puppy buyers for the remaining littermates. I put the interested puppy buyers information on a "waiting-list" and ask each potential puppy buyer to submit a questionnaire (see the link above). Since I work off of a "waiting-list" the puppies are spoken-for before they are born. I use the questionnaire to pre-screen the potential puppy owners. I like to meet the new owners, after I have received their questionnaire, twice; once by visiting their house and again by having them visit my kennel. Many potential puppy owners also come and watch me show my dogs so I can introduce them to other breeders. **NOTE** The questionnaire can be found by following the link at the top of any page. Please feel free to submit the requested information anytime. All puppies will always be sold for $1,200.00 on a contract whether the dog is sold as a show dog, co-owned show dog, or a pet. Puppies are always micro-chipped at 5 weeks of age, have dew claws removed, have been wormed and had puppy booster shots, before they're ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age.
